Frequently asked questions
How does TapSign pricing work?
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of documents. A document counts once when you send it for signature, whether through a shared link, a prepared client link, or the send wizard, no matter how many people sign it. When you reach the allowance, you can upgrade to the next plan at any time and keep sending. There are no surprise overage charges.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 5 documents a month, one sender and one template, with the full signing experience including the signed PDF. No card needed.
Do my customers need an account?
No. Customers open a link, fill in the highlighted boxes, sign with their finger, mouse or a typed name, and submit. They receive a copy of the signed document by email.
What is the difference between a shared link and Prepare & send?
A shared link is one public link for a template that anyone can use, and the customer enters all their details. Prepare & send lets you fill in your own boxes first, such as prices, package and dates, then generates a link locked to that client.
Can I cancel or change plans?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply from the next billing cycle, and your documents stay available for the retention period of your plan.
What is a sender?
A sender is a person on your team who can log in, prepare documents and send them. Customers who sign are not senders and are always free. Free has 1 sender, Starter 2 and Business 5. Need more? Contact us.
